Mabel PeterDeputy Historic Preservation Officer
Mabel is formerly with the local government division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. She is from Majuro Atoll and graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington. Her interests include outdoor activities such as softball and tennis. Mabel is excited to apply her skills and talents to the HPO team.
Rejene CapitolHPF Accountant
Rejene has worked for the RMIHPO since 2007. She is originally from Wotje Atoll, Marshall Islands, but now resides in Ajeltake, Majuro. Currently, she is working towards a degree in accounting at the College of the Marshall Islands. Rejene’s interests are fishing and reading.
Steve TitimlGrant Manager/Field Technician
Steve has worked for the RMIHPO since 2008. He is originally from Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia, but was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Park University in Parkville, Missouri, earning a BA in history. Steve is particularly interested in Micronesian history, traditional cultures, and navigation.
Kazutoyo WaseAssistant Archaeologist/Field Technician
Kazutoyo joined the RMIHPO in 2008. He is from Majuro Atoll, Marshall Islands. He attended the College of the Marshall Islands, earning a degree in business. His interests are Micronesian cultures, archaeological survey, and repatriation.
